Beck Premieres "Chemtrails"

Yesterday, Beck premiered new track “Chemtrails” from his not yet titled forthcoming album on BBC Radio and has it up to stream on his official webpage and MySpace page. Zane Lowe, whose radio show the song premiered on, has already dubbed the album the “hottest record in the world.” And “Chemtrails” isn’t even going to be a single!

The new song is a “genre-bending tour de force” giving away a love of late ’60s psych-pop shared by both Beck and collaborator Danger Mouse. Another new direction sure to please from the ever evolving Beck.

Beck embarks on a world tour beginning late June in Europe, hitting the States in time for several major festivals (Bumbershoot, Outside Lands, Austin City Limits) as well as his biggest ever hometown headline gig September 20 at the Hollywood Bowl.
